The Collected Works of Aaron Merritt Hills: Twelve Books in One
The Collected Works of Aaron Merritt Hills: Twelve Books in One
This is the most complete collection available from Aaron Merritt Hills.Hills was a prolific author, and quick to dispense solid Biblical truth. If there is any doubt, allow this volume to lay the arguments to rest. Much of Hills' writings concern the "second blessing" of Holiness, as taught by the Methodist and Nazarene churches in his time, but the necessity for such a blessing remains true today for men and women in all walks of life. Bible truth isn't swayed by denominational lines. If you are hungry for more of what God has for you, this volume may be an excellent place to start your search. This volume contains the following books:Holiness and Power,Pentecostal Light,The Establishing Grace,The Secret of Spiritual Power,Food for Lambs,Pentecost Rejected — And The Effect On The Churches,The Uttermost Salvation,Dying to Live,The Whosoever Gospel,Life of Charles G. Finney,A Hero Of Faith And Prayer: Life Of Rev. M. W. Knapp,Phineas F. Bresee — A Life Sketch.About the author:Aaron Merritt Hills (1848-1935) was an American Methodist. Raised in a Christian home, he was saved at a revival meeting at the age of eleven. After high school, he attended Oberlin College, where he became acquainted with Charles Finney. After college, he pastored two churches over the course of sixteen years, and then entered into evangelistic work. At some point in his life, he found that he lined up more closely with the Nazarene church, and so threw his lot in with them. After a successful career (if it may be called thus) as an evangelist, he accepted the position of president at Texas Holiness University (now Peniel College). Throughout his life, Hills wrote many great books, and contributed much to the Kingdom of God. His legacy has long survived him, and doubtless he will be remembered for generations to come.

The United States Constitution: A Graphic Adaptation
The United States Constitution: A Graphic Adaptation
Our leaders swear to uphold it, our military to defend it. It is the blueprint for the shape and function of government itself and what defines Americans as Americans. But how many of us truly know our Constitution? The United States Constitution: A Graphic Adaptation uses the art of illustrated storytelling to breathe life into our nation's cornerstone principles. Simply put, it is the most enjoyable and groundbreaking way to read the governing document of the United States. Spirited and visually witty, it roves article by article, amendment by amendment, to get at the meaning, background, and enduring relevance of the law of the land. What revolutionary ideas made the Constitution's authors dare to cast off centuries of rule by kings and queens? Why do we have an electoral college rather than a popular vote for president and vice president? How did a document that once sanctioned slavery, denied voting rights to women, and turned a blind eye to state governments running roughshod over the liberties of minorities transform into a bulwark of protection for all? The United States Constitution answers all of these questions. Sure to surprise, challenge, and provoke, it is hands down the most memorable introduction to America's founding document.

The Power Workbook: Part of the Circle Blueprint System
The Power Workbook: Part of the Circle Blueprint System
The Power Workbook: Part of the Circle Blueprint System By Jack Skeen, Greg Miller, and Aaron Hill The Power Workbook is one of four supplemental workbooks that are included in The Circle Blueprint System. The system also includes a book—The Circle Blueprint: Decoding the Conscious and Unconscious Factors that Determine Your Success, by Jack Skeen, Greg Miller, and Aaron Hill—and a confidential scientifically validated psychometric self-assessment. The self-assessment is free with purchase of The Circle Blueprint. In The Circle Blueprint, the authors pinpoint four developmental areas that, once examined and mastered, can help you thrive. These four areas—Independence, Power, Humility, and Purpose—make up your “Circle,” which the authors describe as a map of the choices you make every day. This particular workbook focuses on power. Here is how The Circle Blueprint System works: 1. Read The Circle Blueprint. 2. Take the assessment. You will receive a score on the “Thriving Scale.” 3. Depending on which areas the assessment shows you need to work on, go to the appropriate workbook. Based on your unique score, you’ll see exactly where to begin the exercises. At that point, you may do as much or as little as you wish. Here is some information on power: When most people think about power, they focus on attaining and exerting it. Instead, say the authors, power should be viewed as discovering your own special, unique quality or skill that offers value to yourself and to the world. Everyone has a “power center.” Some people find theirs early, while others never do. Others find it and use it in destructive ways. While often powerful, these folks are not great leaders. When you have power, you believe in yourself. You are able to establish your own goals and move steadily toward them rather than being fully at the mercy of your circumstances. You are able to direct your energy and skills in a way that can bring about positive outcomes. In addition, you exude energy and enthusiasm (zest) and possess the self-discipline to do what must be done. It’s crucial to master power, because without it, you aren’t running your life; your life is running you. You lack confidence in your ability to control your own motivation, behavior, and social environment. You lack the ability to discipline yourself in the service of reaching your own goals. Instead, you may find yourself wishing for things to occur, procrastinating, and wasting time. You may feel you have little energy, vitality, and vigor. What’s worse, you may have almost no ability to accept the truth about you, your circumstances, your life, and what is cutting you off from having true power. After you’ve taken your assessment and received The Power Workbook, you may proceed at your own pace. You may do as much or as little of the exercises as you wish. However, the more exercises you complete, the closer you will become to creating a balanced, happy, thriving life. You deserve nothing less. Based on your unique score, you’ll see exactly where to begin the exercises. At that point, you may do as much or as little as you wish. Here is some information on independence: Most people don’t understand the real meaning of independence. They think it means being self-reliant. What independence really means is being free from the need to please others or worry about what other people think. It’s about taking 100 percent responsibility for your life and its outcomes. Independence is living with freedom from self-doubt and insecurity. Independence is the ability to be undistracted by anxiety over the future and by guilt about the past, such that you are fully present to the power in each moment. Independence is freedom from the drama created by others and from the stories in your head that create drama in your life. It is crucial to master independence, because seeking other people’s approval wastes energy and stops you from discovering and pursuing what you really want and need. When you lack independence, you also lack self-confidence. You can’t act decisively (an especially big problem if you’re in a leadership position). You’re always doing what others think is right for you rather than what you truly want. As a result, you never cultivate the unique gifts and abilities that should be the basis of your success. Additionally, lacking independence forces you to be an inauthentic person, because you must constantly hide your true feelings. After you’ve taken your assessment and received The Independence Workbook, you may proceed at your own pace. You may do as much or as little of the exercises as you wish. However, the more exercises you complete, the closer you will become to creating a balanced, happy, thriving life. You deserve nothing less. Depending on which areas the assessment shows you need to work on, go to the appropriate workbook. Based on your unique score, you’ll see exactly where to begin the exercises. At that point, you may do as much or as little as you wish. Here is some information on purpose: Discovering your purpose gives you the clarity to become your very best self and live an extraordinary life. It’s about seeing the truth about life and living each moment in the context of that truth and in the pursuit of that truth. Purpose requires seeing yourself in the grandest context of all: the world of spirit. When you see who you really are and what you can really do, you will add a sense of meaning to all of your activities and achievements that transforms you. When you move beyond the material world, you can appreciate the source of such things as love, nobility, goodness, beauty, and kindness. It is crucial to master purpose, because without it, you are unable to see the bigger picture in anything you do. Without purpose, you may become aimless because you have no goals and are uncertain as to how to make any progress in your life. Without purpose, you may have trouble taking care of your own affairs and avoiding impulsive behavior. You may even craft stories that undermine your ability to relate to life or fool yourself about what is going on around you. Finally, without purpose, you may never realize that the Universe is bigger than you are. After you’ve taken your assessment and received The Purpose Workbook, you may proceed at your own pace. You may do as much or as little of the exercises as you wish. However, the more exercises you complete, the closer you will become to creating a balanced, happy, thriving life.
