Do you remember when you were a child, with an endless supply of energy? Remember when you could eat pretty much anything you wanted and were constantly moving? Chances are, when you were growing up, you were active all day long. You played till you were called home, you ate almost anything and you laughed all the time. At bedtime, you still had enough energy to supply a small town and life was filled with joy. What if there were some things you were never supposed to outgrow? What if you were meant to always have enough energy to power a locomotive? What if you were supposed to be able to eat any food without fear or guilt? What if your mind and body felt so good you always had a positive body image? Somewhere along the way, you have settled for the notion that children are childish and you should put away childish things once you became an adult. You stopped playing, moving and laughing like you use to. You grew up and grew old, got slow, unhappy, obese, fearful, depressed and lifeless. But, here's the truth: YOU were never meant to 'grow up' or 'grow old'! This book will help you restore the body you were meant to have. It starts simply; you choose to believe YOU CAN! Then we will help you press reset to your original operating system and remember how to move again.

The Dirty War on Syria
Click Here to view in augmented reality
The Dirty War on Syria has relied on a level of mass disinformation not seen in living memory. In seeking regime change the big powers sought to hide their hand, using proxy armies of Islamists , demonising the Syrian Government and constantly accusing it of atrocities. In this way Syrian President Bashar al Assad, a mild-mannered eye doctor, became the new evil in the world. The popular myths of this dirty war that it is a civil war , a popular revolt or a sectarian conflict hide a murderous spree of regime change across the region. The attack on Syria was a necessary consequence of Washington s ambition, stated openly in 2006, to create a New Middle East . After the destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, Syria was next in line. Five years into this war the evidence is quite clear and must be set out in detail. The terrible massacres were mostly committed by the western backed jihadists, then blamed on the Syrian Army. The western media and many western NGOs parroted the official line. Their sources were almost invariably those allied to the jihadists . Contrary to the myth that the big powers now have their own war on terror , those same powers have backed every single anti-government armed group in Syria, terrorists in any other context, adding thousands of jihadis from dozens of countries. Yet in Syria this dirty war has confronted a disciplined national army which did not disintegrate along sectarian lines. Despite terrible destruction and loss of life, Syria has survived, deepening its alliance with Russia, Iran, the Lebanese Resistance, the secular Palestinians and, more recently, with Iraq. The tide has turned against Washington, and that will have implications beyond Syria. As western peoples we have been particularly deceived by this dirty war, reverting to our worst traditions of intervention, racial prejudice and poor reflection on our own histories. This book tries to tell its story while rescuing some of the better western traditions: the use of reason, ethical principle and the search for independent evidence.

Sweet Tooth: A Memoir

2015 International Book Awards Winner in Non-Fiction: Gay & Lesbian“A gifted writer, Anderson is...delightful in his irreverence, and astutely aware of himself and his particular perspective. His observations are often laugh-out-loud funny and will leave readers with the desire to...keep turning the pages...” —Publishers Weekly review for Anderson, author of Tune in Tokyo and Sweet Tooth What’s a sweets-loving young boy growing up gay in North Carolina in the eighties supposed to think when he’s diagnosed with type 1 diabetes? That God is punishing him, naturally. This was, after all, when Jesse Helms was his senator, AIDS was still the boogeyman, and no one was saying, “It gets better.” And if stealing a copy of an x-rated magazine from the newsagent was a sin, then surely what the guys inside were doing to one another was much worse.Sweet Tooth is Tim Anderson’s uproarious memoir of life after his hormones and blood sugar both went berserk at the age of fifteen. With Morrissey and The Smiths as the soundtrack, Anderson self-deprecatingly recalls love affairs with vests and donuts, first crushes, coming out, and inaugural trips to gay bars. What emerges is the story of a young man trying to build a future that won’t involve crippling loneliness or losing a foot to his disease—and maybe even one that, no matter how unpredictable, can still be pretty sweet.
