Harrisonburg explosion: Three people injured as firefighters battle explosion in Virginia
At least three people were injured after an explosion levelled a shopping centre in Harrisonburg, Virginia on Saturday morning. The explosion damaged several stores and sent a thick column of smoke from Miller Circle, roughly a mile from the James Madison University campus. Two people are in serious condition, according to Harrisonburg authorities.

In order to sanction and establish such a committee, both the House and the GOP-controlled Senate would have to pass the requisite legislation, an unrealistic outcome considering Mitch McConnell controls the levers of the upper chamber.

Renea Turner, who ran against Mr DeWine as a write-in candidate in 2018, posted a video to her Facebook on Thursday in which she places her hand on a Bible and proclaims herself the governor of Ohio. 'Ohio is free from Tyrannous leadership,' she wrote in a Facebook post following the stunt.
